I teach middle school science at James R. Doolittle Elementary School on Chicago's south side. Before becoming a teacher, I spent more than five years as a research chemist developing new medicines. That background in the lab shapes how I teach: science is something real, precise, and genuinely interesting (not just a set of facts to memorize). When I'm not teaching, I'm probably sewing, reading, or chasing my toddler around a playground.
Molecute will always be a free, open-access resource.
